# Create a Product

Create the top-level container for your targets, explorations, and results.

A **product** is the top-level container for everything Antidote tracks for an application.

It holds your targets, explorations, intent tests, and results. In most teams, one product maps to one app or site.

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

#### Open Products

Sign in to `https://app.duku.ai` and open the product menu in the top navbar. If your organisation has no products yet, the first screen offers **+ Create product**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Create the product

Choose **Create product** from the product menu.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Fill in the fields

* **Name:** A clear label like `Marketing Site` or `Web App`
* **Start URL:** Where Antidote starts. For a product behind a login, its sign-in page.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Save it

Click **Continue**. Antidote creates the product and opens its **Setup** tab.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Tell Antidote about the product

On **Setup**, fill in **About your product** - what the product is, the business workflows to cover, the key things your users do and your environments - and add a login under **Login** if the app needs one. Select **Submit**. Antidote reviews the setup and will be in touch before anything runs. Product settings open once the setup is approved.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

#### Create the first target

Open the product.

Use the target menu in the top-right navbar, next to the active product, and choose **Create target**. When Releases are enabled for your organisation there is no target menu - add an environment in **Product settings → Environments** and use **Record release** instead.

If you add credentials, set the product's Base URL so Antidote reaches the sign-in page, for example `https://app.example.com/signin`.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Create separate products for separate applications. Explorations start from the product's base URL. Targets record which version you tested; CI can override the URL for a single run.
{% endhint %}
